Twitter censors user for tweeting photo of Hunter Biden from NY Post article: Twitter locked a user's account for tweeting a photo of Hunter Biden taken from his laptop. The user was required to delete the tweet before regaining access to their account. Previously, incidents such as this hadTwitter claiming that the photo violated its "rules against distribution of hacked material." However, in this case the user did not share what Twitter's reasoning was for forcing him to delete the tweet. Additionally, it has since been shown that the laptop was not hacked, but was legally obtained by the computer repair shop after nonpayment for services, and the shop owner is suing Twitter for defamation over claims that the laptop was hacked.
