YouTube censors The Catholic League’s Documentary About Disney: The Catholic League produced a documentary called “Walt’s Disenchanted Kingdom” that reportedly “explores Disney’s degeneration from an iconic, beloved family entertainment enterprise to an activist political operation opposing parental rights and bent on indoctrinating children into liberal, 'woke' gender and sexual ideologies,” according to CNS News. The video featured various Disney whistleblowers and prominent pro-family media and political figures including Media Research Center President Brent Boezell, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, CPAC Now host Mercedes Schlapp and Stride Asset Management cofounder Vivek Ramaswamy among many others. YouTube age restricted the video, which substantially limits the video’s reach and exposure. According to YouTube’s guidelines, a video can incur age-restrictions if it contains “nudity and sexually suggestive content,” “violent or graphic content,” or “vulgar language,” etc. In place of a thumbnail video, the documentary displays a message from YouTube that says, “This video may be inappropriate for some users.” The viewer is required to click a button that says, “I understand and wish to proceed” before he or she can see the video.
