Facebook deletes post linking to MRC Free Speech America article, calls it "spam": MRC Contributor Catherine Salgado attempted to share an article written for MRC Free Speech America on her Facebook account. The article was titled "Worst Censorship of July: Election Censorship Heats Up." This post examining some of the worst examples of censorship found by MRC Free Speech America in July was deleted by Facebook when Salgado shared a link to it on her Facebook page. The notice that Salgado received claimed that "[i]t looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way" and said the post violated Facebooks "Community Standards on spam." Additionally, she was told that "Repeatedly breaking our rules can cause more account restrictions."
