Carrie Gress

Facebook deletes posts advertising book about "toxic femininity": Facebook reportedly removed posts from Guadalupe Gifts that promoted Carrie Gress's book about toxic femininity. The book titled "The Anti-Mary Exposed: Rescuing The Culture From Toxic Femininity" was referenced in posts by the Catholic gift store on both Facebook, and Facebook-owned Instagram. Subsequently, Facebook told the store it could not sell the book on its platform because it violated the platform's commerce policies. “Listings may not promote the buying, selling, or use of adults products” Facebook said in an email to Guadalupe Gifts on January 24. The store told The College Fix that it has not received any further explanation from the tech company as of February 3.
