Twitter censors user for tweet about transgenderism: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of his censorship notice. He tweeted "The laws need to change. The only thing scientific about transgender is that it is a recognized mental disorder (gender dysphoria). Normalizing it is not different than telling a schizophrenic that his hallucinations are real. I will no longer abide by this." Twitter claimed this violated its rules and locked the user's account until he deleted the tweet. The user reported that his account was also placed in a read-only restricted mode for 12 hours but this could not be confirmed.
