Twitter censors user for posting a link to a journal article about face masks: A Twitter user tweeted a link to an article in the journal Medical Hypotheses. The article was titled "Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis, and was written by Baruch Vainshelboim. The user tweeted, ""Stanford Study Results: Facemasks are Ineffective to Block Transmission of COVID-19 and Actually Can Cause Health Deterioration and Premature Death #masks #stanford #facemasks #ilm #manx #isleofman #covid." Twitter found a problem with this tweet, most likely a violation of its COVID-19 rules which make it the expert on all things related to medicine and science posted on its platform, and forced the user to delete the tweet. Once deleted, she was able to access her account again, but it was restricted to only browsing and DMs for 12 hours.
