TikTok permanently bans popular user, quickly reinstates him: TikTok creator Braden Sorbo explained in an X post that he spent six years amassing 1.9 million followers on his TikTok account when TikTok suddenly "permanently banned" the account. Sorbo stated that, according to the notice that TikTok sent to him, the ban was because his posts were "breaking civility and speech policy," and that the ban was not able to be appealed or reversed. Sorbo claimed that his "content was focused on political dialogue and explaining different views on political issues." Additionally, he believes the video that led to the ban "was a reaction to BLM in NYC protesting the death of Charlie Kirk." Despite claims to the contrary, TikTok reinstated the account on the same day that Sorbo reported it had been banned.
