Twitter account @bonkpolitics had approximately 5000 followers when it was suspended on March 26. The account is a conservative leaning political account, and no reason has yet been given by Twitter as to why it was suspended. The user has no clear ideas why it was done, but noted that many other smaller conservative political accounts have also recently been suspended, with Twitter claiming violations of their spam policy. He expects to hear the same answer. He has tried to contact Twitter at least ten times for clarification on why he was suspended and how to get reinstated, but never gets a response. He is quite frustrated that they do not have a way to address these issues in a timely fashion, and feels that a public site run by a publicly traded company really should have a better system for resolving customer service issues such as this. Twitter representative has not yet got back to me with a response.
