X community adds a context note to Axios post: The Axios X account posted "The Trump campaign and Republicans have tagged Harris repeatedly with the "border czar" title — which she never actually had." The post included a link to an Axios article headlined "Harris border confusion haunts her new campaign." In the video posted, Trump played a rap song called "Donald Trump" by Mac Miller. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. Axios itself referred to Harris as Biden's "border czar" in 2021: axios.com/2021/04/14/har… axios.com/2021/04/15/mex… axios.com/2021/04/15/una…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
