Instagram censors Trump meme: Radio host and former political candidate Austin Petersen shared a screenshot of a notice he received from Instagram that said a Trump meme he posted had been removed. The meme showed a picture of Alec Baldwin portraying Donald Trump during an SNL skit along with a Donald Trump quote that said, "I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody." Instagram claimed the meme went against its Community Standards. The notice also stated that their "...guidelines are based on [its] global community, and some audiences may be sensitive to different things." It is unclear how the post violated Instagram's Community Standards. Petersen requested a review of the violation. The appeal was denied and the post was removed.
