TikTok suspends user's access to go live: TikTok suspended a user from going live on the platform for violating the platform's community guidelines. TikTok claimed the user violated the platform's "misinformation" and "integrity & authenticity" policy. "We do not allow content that: (1) Spreads misinformation that causes harm to individuals, our community, or the larger public regardless of intent. (2) Spreads media that misleads viewers by distorting the truth of events that causes harm to the subject of the video, other persons, or society," TikTok said. It is unclear how the user's content violated TikTok's policies. The user appealed TikTok's decision but the platform denied her appeal.
