Facebook deleted a user's comment for showing support of Kyle Rittenhouse: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another purportedly in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. A user commented on a post with the words "Free Kyle." Facebook removed the post claiming that the user "previously posted something that didn't follow [its] Community Standards," according to a screenshot tweeted by the user. The platform restricted the user's ability to post or comment for 7 days and his ability to advertise for 30 days, according to screenshots. The screenshot did not include Facebook's exact reasons for removing the post but similar posts were removed because they "[went] against [its] standards on dangerous individuals and organizations."
