Twitter suspends Cernovich News writer, doesn't tell him why: Andrew Meyer, a writer for Cernovich News and other outlets, found his Twitter account instantly suspended after a quote tweet. The tweet that he quote tweeted was from Cernovich, and included a video of Florida governor Ron Desantis, with Cernovich saying simply "Icon." Meyer added his own comment to this, which he summarized as saying "without @Ali's 2018 Stop the Steal, Florida would have a literal methhead instead of the best governor in America." This was a reference to failed candidate for governor of Florida, Andrew Gillum. Meyer speculated that Twitter instantly suspended him after this tweet either because he tagged @Ali, who has also been suspended from Twitter, or because he mentioned a #StoptheSteal campaign, which has also been banned by social media outlets because of the Capitol riot. However, Twitter did not explain to him why they suspended his account.
