Well known coronavirus lockdown and mandate critic banned from Twitter: Former New York Times journalist Alex Berenson has become a high profile critic of the left's doctrine regarding COVID-19 and its mitigation strategies. Big Tech has censored Berenson at least six times over his comments about the pandemic and society's response to it. Twitter finally decided to "permanently suspend" Berenson from using its platform for "repeated violations of [Twitter's] COVID-19 misinformation rules," a company spokesperson said, according to Fox Business. The final tweet that reportedly led to Twitter banning Berenson included criticism of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to a post on Berenson's personal Substack blog. "It doesn't stop infection. Or transmission," read Berenson's violating tweet. "Don't think of it as a vaccine. Think of it - at best - as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS. And we want to mandate it? Insanity."
