As Judgment Day for Anthony Fauci’s COVID-19 behavior approaches, the public demands answers as to why he misled Congress and the American people. Fauci will testify before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs on Wednesday morning, where he will address his statements and leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, as revealed in his recently released diary. David Bozell, President of the Media Research Center, joined Alex Swoyer on The Chris Plante Show Tuesday morning to react to these new documents.

Bozell exposed the hidden villain in this story: the leftist media’s failure to challenge Fauci throughout the pandemic.

Bozell noted:

“There has been one brief 20-second mention on the CBS Evening News, and Telemundo had a brief mention. But in terms of the morning shows yesterday, the morning shows this morning, most evening broadcast shows, and most of cable—CNN and MSNBC—you basically heard Abby declare they were not going to talk about it. It has been a total blackout.”

Bozell condemned this blackout, noting that the elitist media didn't just “overlook” Fauci’s fabrications—they were as thick as thieves with the bureaucrat, playing chummy at dinners and trading text messages.

“That's why Jake Tapper and Fauci have dinners together. That's why Dana Bash and Fauci text back and forth. They don't mind that Fauci supplies a network with questions to take down a member of the administration. It's all because of this elitist attitude that they alone should be making public policy determinations.

The media’s refusal to cover the recent bombshell news in Fauci's diaries continues their pattern of prioritizing the demonization of President Trump over all else.
