Jim DeMint is the Chairman of the Conservative Partnership Institute and a former congressman and senator from South Carolina. He is also the founder of the Senate Conservatives Fund. He served as President of The Heritage Foundation before becoming a senior advisor to Citizens for Self-Governance.
