Facebook censors post listing facts about the potential blood clots from the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine: A Twitter user shared a censorship notice he received from Facebook. Facebook deleted the post, saying that it "goes against the Facebook Rules on misinformation that could cause physical harm." The user tweeted: "Facebook removed this post I made about the J&J pause. What part of this is misinformation? Next time ban me you cowards." The post was fairly lengthy, but described the potential blood clots from getting the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and that only 6 females in the U.S. had such a side effect out of 6.8 million doses given. It also explained the CDC and FDA pause on administering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Finally, it listed symptoms to look out for, and who should seek immediate medical attention for this possible side effect. This was a very factual and informative post that Facebook removed. There was no political posturing, no opinion shared, and no reason for the post to have been removed.
