Ron Paul

YouTube Deletes a Ron Paul Liberty Report Video, Again: Former Texas Congressman and Libertarian Party candidate for President Ron Paul was censored by YouTube again. His YouTube show, the Ron Paul Liberty Report, comments on political issues on a frequent basis, and has amassed over 270,000 subscribers. Paul explained on his Twitter account that YouTube recently removed a weeks-old video titled "'Fire Fauci!' - Trump Rally Explodes Over Coronavirus Doom and Gloomer" for "Medical Misinformation." Paul noted that YouTube warned him that "any more violations will result in our not being able to put up more programs." He filed an appeal with YouTube in which he stated that his video program "does not provide any medical information, though its host is a medical doctor. It is a news and analysis program." According to a report on the censorship, Reclaim the Net noted that during the offending episode, "Paul and his co-host Daniel McAdams, Executive Director of The Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, discussed the 'Fire Fauci' chants that erupted during a pre-election Trump rally, Fauci’s pre-election praise of Biden, the media building up Fauci, and Biden’s 'doom and gloom' approach to COVID-19. The episode concluded with a discussion of a popular article from The Federalist titled 'These 12 Graphs Show Mask Mandates Do Nothing To Stop COVID.'" It is unclear why YouTube feels that it is unacceptable to allow medical doctors to even discuss such topics. Open discussion and analysis is vital to a well-functioning Constitutional Republic.
