Reddit's ComicBooks bans Rippaverse Comics for supporting "hate groups": Reddit's ComicBooks community banned Rippaverse Comics' launch for supposedly "supporting comics from hate groups," and permanently banned Rippaverse's participation in ComicBooks, as Reclaim The Net reported. On the ComicBooks subreddit page where a Rippaverse Comics promo trailer was posted, the notice says, "Sorry, this post has been removed by the moderators of r/comicbooks. Moderators remove posts from feeds for a variety of reasons, including keeping communities safe, civil, and true to their purpose." Reclaim The Net said a moderator told Rippaverse, "Please be respectful of people’s pronouns. Intentionally continuing to use the incorrect pronouns after being corrected is a violation of Rule 1." Rippaverse's Eric July tweeted about the ban, "We do not need the folks that wish to protect the old guard. They can’t stop us and we’re going to win."
