YouTube censors Project Veritas: Project Veritas tweeted, “CENSORED AGAIN: @YouTube issues second strike and removes video that covered Michigan protest against @Pfizer. One more unjustified strike and YouTube deletes our account. Big Tech and Big Pharma collusion much?” Project Veritas also posted a purported screenshot of its YouTube account on Twitter. According to the screenshot, YouTube censored Project Veritas’s video entitled “Veritas Reporter Christian Hartsock Interviews MI State Reps Seeking Answers to Viral Pfizer Videos.” The reason the video was removed, per the screenshot, was that “content that contains targeted harassment or malicious insults (such as racial slurs) isn’t allowed on YouTube. This includes, but is not limited to, stalking, threats, unwanted sexualization, and prolonged name-calling or malicious insults that target intrinsic attributes.” However, YouTube did not say what specifically in Project Veritas’s video violated the policies. Project Veritas did not say whether it appealed YouTube’s decision. At the time of writing, the video remained unavailable and was replaced with a warning label that read “This video has been removed for violating YouTube’s policy on harassment and bullying.”
