Eventbrite cancels Stop the Insanity event protesting transgender ideology: Palmetto Family Council, a South Carolina organization that seeks to "persuasively present biblical principles in the centers of influence on issues affecting the family," is hosting an event called Stop the Insanity featuring detransitioner Chloe Cole who is an advocate for children exploited or at risk of being exploited by the medicalized gender transition procedures. Event ticketing and marketing platform Eventbrite has refused to host signups for the free event. "We have determined that your event is not permitted on the Eventbrite platform as it violates our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service, specifically our policy on Hateful, Dangerous, or Violent Content and events. As a result, your event has been unpublished," the platform claimed according to screenshots Palmetto Family Council posted on X (Formerly Twitter). Users who click on a link to the event will be met with a page that reads: "This event is currently unavailable." The Palmetto Family Council told the Daily Wire that this is a targeted attack. “Simply, Palmetto Family Council has been censored for taking a stand against the LGBTQ+ progressive agenda,” the group told the Daily Wire. “Our staff is working diligently to find a solution to this unexpected situation.” The group added that it will not allow this incident to hinder its work. “We will continue to fight against the radical LGBTQ+ agenda, censorship from big tech and cultural elites, and fight for Christian conservative values in every sphere.”
