YouTube imposes label on political candidate’s climate video: Nicole Shanahan, 2024 running mate of independent presidential candidate Robert. F. Kennedy Jr., posted an ad in May about hers and Kennedy’s plans for “Healthy Soil, Healthy Nation: Addressing Health and Climate through Agriculture.” YouTube placed a “Climate change” context label on the video, linking to the United Nations. The label alleged, “Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.”
