MRCTV

TikTok removes clip of MRCTV's Reality Check with Brittany Hughes talking about vaccine passports and voter ID laws: MRCTV managing editor Brittany Hughes called out D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser for the city's stringent vaccine mandates. The law requires those 18 and older to show a vaccine card and matching photo ID to enter restaurants and entertainment venues. "About two seconds ago Democrats like Bowser were screaming that it's racist to require people to show a photo ID before voting," she said in the clip. "But somehow it's not racist to require them to get that same photo ID to go into a Starbucks." TikTok removed the clip over a week after it was posted due to a "content violation" of "hate speech," according to screenshots. MRCTV appealed TikTok's decision and the platform restored the video.
