Apple censors presidential candidate’s email newsletter: Just the News reported Oct. 9 Apple had been blocking the delivery of a newsletter which was founded by Libertarian presidential candidate Dr. Michael Rectenwald. Citizens for Legitimate Government (CLG News) has received error messages from “thousands of bounce-backs” going to Mac and iCloud email subscribers for unspecified reasons, according to Just the News. The outlet reported that the email was blocked even though CLG has its own server, and that one email about a lawsuit against COVID therapeutic Remdesivir’s manufacturer for "alleged deceptive practices” was censored until the subject line was changed. The Editor-in-chief Lori Price claimed another email about Kevin McCarthy being outed as Speaker was also targeted, and that an administrator “claimed Apple's filters blocked the newsletter because it included a link to The Gateway Pundit: ‘One of our vendors has identified malware on this domain.’” Rectenwald, a former NYU professor, is the author of “Google Archipelago: The Digital Gulag and the Simulation of Freedom.”
