King's Church

Facebook censors King's Church post sharing about Baptism Sunday: King's Church in Washington D.C. posted its "Weekend in Review" on Feb. 25. The post shared pictures from "Baptism Sunday" and even quoted 1 Corinthians 2:9 "'What no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has concieved--God has prepared these things for those who love him,'" according to screenshots shared by MRCTV host and member of King's Church, Tierin-Rose Mandelburg. Facebook removed the post claiming that the content violated its "Community Standards on spam." The platform's removal notification further explained "It looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way." Facebook removed the post retroactively on May 6 and then later restored the post.
