YouTube removes an episode of the Jordan Peterson Podcast 8 months after it came out: YouTube gave Jordan Peterson's channel a warning and removed an episode of his podcast that featured an interview with Economist journalist Helen Joyce about her book Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality. In the video, the pair discussed the transgender movement's corruption of language, the reasons why women are so susceptible to gender ideology and the interaction between the ideology and raising children. Peterson posted the video in September 2022 but Youtube did not retroactively remove the video until June 2023. Those who find the video will be met with a notice that reads: "Our team has reviewed your content, and, unfortunately, we think it violates our hate speech policy." Peterson tweeted a screenshot of the removal notice that claims "Content glorifying or inciting violence against another person or group of people is not allowed on YouTube. We also don't allow any content that encourages hatred of another person or group of people based on their membership in a protected group." It is unclear what content might have violated this rule.

7/5/2023 UPDATE : YouTube denied Peterson's appeal claiming: "We reviewed your content carefully, and have confirmed that it violates our hate speech policy. [...] We won't be putting your content back up on YouTube."
