YouTube removes John Ondrasik video critical of Biden's botched Afghanistan withdrawal, restores it after backlash: Singer/songwriter John Ondrasik, better known as Five for Fighting, uploaded an extended cut of his "Blood On My Hands" song to his YouTube channel. The song criticized the Biden administration for the botched withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan. The extended cut video included graphic images of the violence perpetrated by the Taliban on Afghanistans, to make a point that Ondrasik claimed could not be made without the images, according to reporting at Just the News. Ondrasik noted that he had placed a graphic image warning in the first few seconds of the video, and was pleased when YouTube added an age restriction to the video which requires users, even those who have verified their ages, to click through two warnings in order to view the video. However, Ondrasik reported that five days after uploading the video, YouTube removed it from his channel, citing a violation of the "graphic content policy." After Ondrasik found similar images of Taliban violence on monetized videos on YouTube, he took to social media to make the case that he was being unfairly targeted for censorship. According to Just the News, the video was restored by YouTube within 24 hours after social media backlash.
