Facebook deleted a user's comment who talked about Will Smith's "slap heard around the world:" A user sent MRC CensorTrack screenshots showing that Facebook removed his comment when he referenced actor Will Smith slapping actor and comedian Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars. "Nancy Williams I don't watch this junk either, but looking at the video it sure looked authentic. Will's wife has a condition which made her hair fall out, and Chris made a joke about it," the user commented according to screenshots. "I'd punch somebody in the face over a poor choice of words when it comes to my lovely wife also." Facebook removed the post because the comment "didn't follow our Community Standards," according to screenshots. The user appealed but it is unclear whether the appeal successfully restored the censored content.
