Facebook removes comment calling Kyle Rittenhouse a hero: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. A Facebook user commented in relation to the Kyle Rittenhouse case "For shooting thugs? He's a hero!," according to a screenshot provided by the user. The screenshot does not show exactly why the platform removed the user's comment but similar comments were removed by Facebook because they "[went] against [its] standards on dangerous individuals and organizations." The user claims that his account was restricted for 30 days in addition to the deleted content shown by his screenshot.
