Instagram removes Hillel Neuer's story: Instagram removed Hillel Neur's post for violating the platform's guidelines on violence or dangerous organizations. The United Nations Watch Executive Director shared a screenshot of the Iranian president holding a photo of Qasem Soleimani at the UN. Neuer added text to the screenshot saying, "Reminder: General Qasem Solemani [sic] was a terrorist mastermind who led the Syrian genocide." According to purported screenshots shared by Neuer, the tweet violated the platform's Community Guidelines. "We remove photos or videos of extreme graphic violence," the notice said. Neuer later shared that the story was restored. It is unclear if he appealed Instagram's decision. Instagram did not respond to MRC Free Speech America's request for comment at the time of publication.
