TikTok deleted Evita Duffy-Alfonso's video about the Biden administration's discrimination against Christian foster parents. The Federalist staff writer, Evita Duffy-Alfonso, created a video exposing a proposed rule change for what qualifies a person to be a "safe and appropriate foster care placement." The proposed rule states that “to be considered a safe and appropriate placement, a provider is expected to utilize the child’s identified pronouns, chosen name, and allow the child to dress in an age-appropriate manner that the child believes reflects their self-identified gender identity and expression.” In the deleted video Duffy-Alfonso predicted that this rule could potentially later apply to all parents. "Essentially what the Biden administration is saying, is that if you do not believe that men can be women and women can be men then you are unfit to be a foster parent," she said. "Eventually, this regulation will apply to all parents, not just foster parents because if rejecting radical gender ideology is abuse for foster parents, it's abuse for biological parents." TikTok removed the video for alleged "attacks and slurs on the basis of protected attributes," "Hate Speech and Hateful Behaviors" and "Nudity and Body Exposure." It is unclear how any of these violations applied to the video.
