Snapchat, like Facebook and Twitter, locked Trump out of his account and deleted his content: The popular picture messaging application has indicated it will place restrictions on President Donald Trump's account that prevent him from sharing anything new on its app, according to Engadget. "We can confirm that earlier today we locked President Trump’s Snapchat account,” said Snapchat spokesperson Rachel Racusen. Unlike Facebook and Twitter, which will only locked Trump out for 24-hours and 12-hours, respectively, Racusen said Snapchat’s restriction will stay in place until the company decides to lift it. Ahead of the suspension Snapchat removed the same video that was the catalyst for problems at Facebook and Twitter. In the short one-minute clip Trump spoke from the White House rose garden, saying that "we have to have peace," and "law and order," which he added includes respecting law enforcement. "We don't want anybody hurt," Trump reiterated in the video. "I know how you feel, but go home and go home in peace," he concluded the clip. Trump empathized with the angry and disruptive protesters, but the clip was primarily about telling them to go home in peace. Trump primarily uses Snapchat to share content he posts to his other social media accounts. Trump's expulsion from this platform won't mean much as back in mid-2020 the platform stopped featuring his content on its Discover page, only showing it to people who specifically searched for it.
