Created Equal (Pro-Life Nonprofit)

A video from Pro-Life nonprofit Created Equal that shows the moments inside a delivery room when a mother gave birth to premature twins who were reportedly denied care by health professionals and ultimately left to die was deleted from YouTube for violating community standards, according to The Federalist. The video states that no hospital staff were present as she gave birth to her first son, who received no treatment and only lived for 45 minutes. Her second son reportedly breathed and cried on his own for two and a half hours before he died as well. A neonatologist at the hospital reportedly said it would have been "inhumane to try" to save her second son's life, the mother told The Federalist. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced in September that the hospital where this event occurred had failed in 2017 to ensure required medical screening examinations "were performed for twins born prematurely (at 22 weeks gestation) who were not sent to the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit and died within several hours after delivery." HHS said they will be investigating this incident further to decide whether any additional civil rights violations occurred. The censored video was also removed from Vimeo, which indicated “You cannot upload videos that are hateful, defamatory, or discriminatory.” However, it is still available on Facebook and Parler.
