TikTok deleted user’s comment criticizing another user’s violent threat: Christopher Minarich posted on X on Nov. 13, “Well, I just deleted Commie TikTok @TikTokSupport  because there [sic] IMMEDIATELY deleted my comment & threatened suspending my account for, all I can assume was, using the work [sic] ‘stupidity’ to describe the actions of a young woman THREATENING TO TASER MEN WITH OPPOSING POLITICAL VIEWS. Yup, deemed my comment ‘bullying’”. He recommended others leave TikTok too. Minarich included screenshots that showed his comment and TikTok’s notices. Minarich had posted, “Stop seeking attention because the internet never forget & your [sic] young so you’ll never live your stupidity down. Tasers is going to get you in trouble but, do you by all means.” The TikTok notice read, “Content can’t be restored[.] It was determined that your content violates our Community Guidelines and cannot be restored.” TikTok also issued an “Account warning” because of “accumulated strikes from previous violations,” adding, “The next violation could result in being prevented from accessing some features.”
