The House Judiciary Committee just hit the scandal-ridden, corruption-filled Department of Justice with fiery subpoenas in connection to a damning investigation.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) is seeking any documents related to the Biden administration’s unconstitutional “collusion” with Big Tech to oppress free speech on social media. Jordan issued two subpoenas. One was addressed to embattled FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland. The subpoena gave the two federal officials until September 18 to turn in any documents related to the probe, including communications between the two agencies or third-party groups over content moderation.

“The Committee on the Judiciary is conducting oversight of how and the extent to which the Executive Branch has coerced and colluded with companies and other intermediaries to censor speech,” Jordan wrote in two separate letters, before listing a thorough line of questioning related to the potential role the FBI or DOJ played in furthering Biden’s war against Americans’ First Amendment liberties.

Jordan’s letters came two weeks after the release of the bombshell “Facebook Files,” a series of documents revealing communications between Facebook and the federal government. In the span of several days, Jordan has revealed the draconian extent to which the Biden regime went to coordinate with Meta’s Facebook to block content that went against the government-approved narrative on topics including COVID-19 and the Biden bribery scandal.

Notably, Jordan accused on August 7 FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Elvis Chan of lying to members of Congress about his role in colluding with Big Tech to censor the Hunter Biden laptop bombshell.

Additionally, GOP members of the House Judiciary Committee filed an amicus brief in support of a landmark lawsuit led by the attorneys general of Louisiana and Missouri, Jeff Landry and Andrew Bailey against the Biden administration’s assault on free speech. The lawsuit, Biden v. Missouri, cites exclusive research from MRC Free Speech America’s unique CensorTrack.Org database.
